Mary Immaculate College (MIC) is delighted to announce the return of its on-campus MIC Limerick October Open Days. On Thursday 20 and Friday 21 of October, from 9am to 3pm each day, the College will open the campus to prospective students from all over the country, guidance counsellors and parents.
The CAO Round 1 offers for 2024 were made today (Wednesday, 28 August) and MIC has two of the education programmes with the highest points in the country.
The College’s four-year B Ed in Education and Psychology (MI008) degree, the only one of its type in Ireland, not only remains a highly sought-after programme attracting the highest calibre of applicant but the 2024 CAO minimum points requirement of 590 makes it, along with MIC’s Bachelor of Education – International (MI004), the teacher education programme with the highest points in the country. MIC’s unique Bachelor of Education – International is a four-year, full-time, honours degree (Level 8) designed to qualify students to be primary teachers, with the addition of an international study component. The programme remains popular with the minimum points requirement at an impressive 565.
