MIC Thurles Green Campus Flag was awarded in 2020 in recognition of the efforts of students and staff who successfully reduced waste and increased recycling throughout the campus, and raised awareness of environmental and sustainability issues amongst the student and staff population.
Mary Immaculate College and the Mathematical Resilience Network (MRN) Ireland branch will host a free one-day mathematics anxiety workshop for second level teachers and support staff on Saturday 9 March. The workshop is primarily aimed at teachers of mathematics and subjects involving mathematics such as science, engineering and technology, as well as support staff and teachers who encounter maths and stats anxiety in other fields.
