The MIC Learning Enhancement and Academic Development (LEAD) Centre hosted the “Renew, Rethink, Reassess our Assessment Designs” staff development day. This hybrid event, held on the MIC Limerick Campus and on MS Teams, was introduced by Dr Katherine Whitehurst, Director of Teaching and Learning, and included a keynote presentation, presentations on technical tools for assessment and feedback, the launch of the latest series of MIC’s case studies, and an assessment “spring clean” workshop.
The Leadership for INClusion in the Early Years (LINC) Programme is a Level 6 Special Purpose Award designed to equip early years educators to lead inclusive practice, support all children, and take on the role of Inclusion Coordinator within their setting.
Learn about the importance and relevance of the new M Ed in Leadership of Wellbeing in Education programme in MIC. This two-year part-time Level 9 programme will provide participants with the skills to assume leadership positions in the promotion of wellbeing in a variety of educational settings and in the wider community.
This summer course running at MIC Limerick will develop teachers’ knowledge and skill in the teaching of Gaelic Games in the primary school, focusing in particular on coaching, coaching skills, managing and planning coaching programmes, including those that involve the participation of visiting coaches.
