Adults with Williams Syndrome Share Ideas for Research
Adults with Williams Syndrome Share Ideas for Research
At the summer camp, adults with WS gave their views on what they would like researched. This ensures that the research carried out by the WoNDER Centre is based on the needs of the people it strives to support. They have requested more information about their condition that they can understand, they have identified questions they would like answered and they are interested in taking part in research through interviews and focus groups.
Issues for Discussion
Conversations centred around WS identity, the concept of friendship and independence. These areas will be explored in the coming months as part of a research study to support adults with WS.
