The achievements of almost 150 students and graduates were celebrated at Mary Immaculate College (MIC) on Tuesday 28 November, with close to €600,000 in scholarships and bursaries presented—the highest total amount bestowed at the College’s annual awards night.
Mary Immaculate College was delighted to host the 64th Irish Geological Research Meeting – the first time the college hosted the IGRM, and the first time the IGRM was held online.
The meeting was held over Microsoft Teams, on 25-26th February. Speakers delivered oral presentations over Teams, with all presentations live-streamed on YouTube, and an online chat function for discussion and questions. Posters were hosted online on the conference website.
