MIC Ukrainian Response & Displaced Citizens Hub

Mary Immaculate College (MIC) stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and all people seeking refuge from conflict in Ireland. Our work to progress our designation as a College of Sanctuary very much welcomes Minister Harris’ statement that Ukrainian students who want to continue their higher education studies in Ireland will be fully supported. This hub will contain information on how the staff and students of MIC are working together with new communities to develop informed responses to the Ukrainian crisis and other communities seeking refuge in Ireland. Our responses include engagement, teaching English language, resources and information sharing, supporting prospective students transition to our College and access information on programmes at other higher education institutions, and providing sanctuary to researchers and academics who need space to continue with their scholarly work.
