The Irish of Brittany - Story of a Migration Music Show

Join us on Wednesday 29 October at MIC Limerick for an amazing event combining a short talk and a fantastic musical journey revisiting the Irish presence and influence over Brittany during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Breton artists Véronique Bourjot (singer), Soazig Hamelin (fiddle/singer), Kevin Le Pennec (harp/singer) and Brewen Favrau (uilleann & small pipes/whistles/singer), will take you on that journey of music, song and poetry. Their performance will be introduced by Dr Éamon Ó Ciosáin, one of the leading experts on the historical links between Ireland and Brittany.
