Fun, learning and research at the WoNDER Centre summer camps!

Pre-school Summer Camp

We were delighted to introduce the WS Pre-school Summer Camp this year to prepare our three pre-school members with skills to help their transition to pre-school or primary school. It supports our research with young children with WS. We focused specifically on the use of play, the use of song and rhymes for life skills and emotional regulation, and on language development.

Time for self-regulation is a necessary part of play.

Support for Siblings

The summer camps for the pre-schoolers also included big and small brothers and sisters! We believe that all members of the family should be valued through the WoNDER Centre activities. The older brothers and sisters were a great help and were also given one-to-one time to feel valued too.
