Emma Barry worked in Quality Assurance roles in industry prior to joining Mary Immaculate College as Quality Officer in February 2007. She was appointed Quality Assurance Manager in May 2017 and was appointed to the role of Assistant Director of Quality (Acting) in July 2023.
She is currently a member of An tÚdarás Rialiaithe (Governing Authority), the Equality Committee and Bord na Gaeilge as a Professional Services staff representative. She is also a member of the Quality Committee and Strategic Planning Group.
Her work focuses on Quality Management Systems, Quality Reviews and Stakeholder Feedback.
