Irish Landscapes - Exploring Ireland's Stunning Nature

While studying in Ireland as an international student, I have discovered not only a new culture and a way of living, but also the stunning beauty of the local landscapes. Ireland’s natural beauty is something truly magical that one cannot describe, but I will do my very best to try. In this blog post, I want to share my impressions of the places that, to this day, are most memorable to me: the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, the Ring of Kerry, and Ennis.
Cliffs of Moher
This place is a true symbol of wild Irish nature. The cliffs rising above the Atlantic Ocean make you freeze in anticipation. The wind blowing from the sea and the beauty of it all seem to be able to awaken all of your senses. I have visited this place twice, and my second visit was very recent, so I vividly remember standing on the edge and watching the waves crash against the rocks - it was like a scene from a movie. A walk along the cliffs is not just a tourist attraction, it is an out-of-body experience, a moment when you feel like you are part of something grand.
Galway

Galway is one of my favorite cities in Ireland. It lives in the rhythm of music, street performances, and a cozy, creative atmosphere. There is no hustle and bustle of big cities here, but there is no place for boredom. After a walk through the market, I advise you to go to Salthill promenade, where you can see an incredible view of the bay. The sunset and sunrise here are poetry of color. You must not forget that Galway is also the gateway to Connemara and the wildlife, which I also plan to explore.
Ring of Kerry

This place amazed me with its diversity. In one day, you can see dense forests, mountain passes, lakes, and ocean bays. I was driving along the Ring Road and constantly wanted to stop the bus driver to take a photo. I especially remembered the place near the Curragh Lake - silence, in which you can only hear your own thoughts. Here, it is easy to feel far from the whole world, to feel nature as a second interlocutor.
Ennis
It’s a small town that was a warm discovery for me. It’s quiet, and the atmosphere is genuine and friendly. I walked through its narrow streets, visited vintage shops, and listened to traditional music in the local pubs. There are also many green paths and hiking opportunities nearby. It’s a great place to slow down and just enjoy the moment.
Ireland teaches you to be attentive to details: to the raindrops on the grass, to the light that breaks through the clouds, to the wind that brings freedom with it. Nature here is not just a backdrop for life, but an important part of it. And I am happy that I can discover it for myself step by step.
