Ciarán is an Associate Professor and Director of Placement at Mary Immaculate College, with a focus on initial teacher education, educational leadership, and public policy. His research explores the interplay between identity, purpose and policy in educational settings, examining how this relationships is both subtly and explicitly reflected in everyday practices.
