Following recent communications about the postponement of the Autumn Conferring Ceremonies and PhD Celebration Dinner, we are pleased to confirm revised Spring Semester dates for these events.
- LINC Conferring Ceremony – Saturday, 06 February 2027
- MIC Thurles Conferring Ceremony – Tuesday, 16 February 2027
- PhD Celebration Dinner – Wednesday, 17 February 2027
- MIC Limerick Conferring Ceremonies – Thursday, 18 February and Friday, 19 February 2027
The decision to postpone these events was taken following careful consideration of the uncertainty arising from the notified industrial action and the College's desire to ensure that graduands, their families and staff could be provided with the greatest possible certainty regarding these important celebrations. We fully appreciate the disappointment and inconvenience that the postponement has caused for many graduands and their families. Graduation is a significant milestone, and we recognise the considerable anticipation and planning associated with these celebrations.
In identifying new dates, the College sought to provide the greatest possible certainty for graduands, guests and staff. The revised schedule was selected to minimise the risk of disruption and ensure the ceremonies can be delivered to the high standard our graduates deserve and expect.
