MIC celebrates student achievements across sport, societies and class representation

MIDAS being officially recognised by College president

Mary Immaculate College (MIC) celebrated the achievements of students involved in clubs and societies, along with its class representatives, this week across Limerick and Thurles.

The event, held on both campuses, brought together students and staff to recognise the significant contributions made by students beyond the classroom to college life.  Proceedings were led by Dr Geraldine Brosnan, Director of Student Life in Limerick and Professor Jennifer Johnston, Vice Dean of MIC Thurles in Thurles with Professor Dermot Nestor, President of MIC, formally acknowledging students and presenting letters of commendation and awards.

Sporting achievements were recognised by Feargal O’Callaghan, Director of Sport, who highlighted the success of MIC teams over the past year before inviting representatives to be acknowledged by the President.
