Tipperary Festival of Science 2025, sponsored by Research Ireland, Mary Immaculate College, and the Irish American Partnership in collaboration with TUS Thurles and Tipperary County Council Library Service, is back again for its 9th year, boasting a thrilling lineup of week-long events under the theme "Then. Today. Tomorrow."

The festival aims to ignite curiosity, enthusiasm, and conversation about science by providing accessible, fun interactions with the public and communities, to individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds. From science theatre shows to drones at TUS or getting creative at the many CRAFT STEAM workshops in your local Tipperary library, there is sure to be something for everyone at Tipperary Festival of Science 2025!

This year’s flagship event, our Community Science Day, will be held on 15 November at MIC Thurles. We have a busy line-up for the day, including hands on STEM workshops from the MIC CRAFT Maker Space, as well as demos on how to make a kite, Lego fun for the budding architect and engineer amongst us, book readings, science magic and larger science shows, which are sure to appeal to all ages! The event will have something for everyone, so come along and join us for a few hours of (free) science fun!
