ICAIRE Welcomes Mariana G. Fullone as a New Member
Mariana G. Fullone, University of Buenos Aires (UBA). ICAIRE is pleased to welcome Mariana G. Fullone as a new member, bringing extensive expertise in English language education, educational technology, academic literacy, and innovation in higher education.
Mariana is an English professor and a Specialist in Educational Management and Educational Technology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is a professor and researcher in English Reading Comprehension at the Department of Modern Languages, Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, UBA.
Since 2006, Mariana has worked at the university’s Language Lab, where she co-designed a flexible online learning programme and currently serves as General Academic Coordinator. Her work has contributed significantly to the development of innovative approaches to language learning, digital education, and flexible learning pathways.
In addition to her university role, Mariana has managed and worked as an educational consultant on numerous educational innovation projects across both the public and private sectors. Her experience spans the design, coordination, and implementation of projects that support teaching, learning, and digital transformation in education.
Mariana’s research interests include generative artificial intelligence, educational technologies, language teaching, hybrid reading and writing, academic literacy, and teacher literacy. These areas align closely with ICAIRE’s focus on responsible and innovative approaches to artificial intelligence and education.
ICAIRE looks forward to Mariana’s contribution to the centre’s growing international community and to future collaboration in areas related to AI, language education, educational innovation, and digital learning.
