Employee Assistance Service (EAS)
MIC’s Employee Assistance Service (EAS) is available to all staff members. This is a confidential counselling service providing support to employees, in addition to their spouse/civil partner and dependants, where the family member can be described as a person over the age of 16 and residing in the family home.
EAS can help with a wide variety of problems and can support anyone suffering with issues including but not limited to:
- Depression, anxiety, stress
- Grief and bereavement
- Addictions
- Work stress and work-life balance
- Relationships and marital problems
- Workplace conflict and communication
- Life transitions, such as career progressions or retirement
- Parenting problems
EAS is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and provides immediate access to counselling support to help employees cope effectively with any personal or work-related problems. Along with counselling, employees and their families can access EAS for other supports, including; pregnancy loss, elder care support, international employee support, health information, autism support and more.
