About the STEM Conference

Across keynote addresses, research presentations, and practitioner-led sessions, the conference programme will critically explore innovative models of integrated STEM education, with a focus on how disciplinary knowledge can be meaningfully connected to address authentic, real-world challenges. Particular attention will be given to the role of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies in reshaping pedagogical practices, assessment approaches and learner engagement, as well as the ethical, social, and educational implications of their use in school contexts.

The conference will also provide a forum for examining how STEM education is enacted in practice, showcasing classroom-based innovations, design-based learning approaches, and inquiry-driven pedagogies that support inclusive and equitable participation in STEM. In addition, delegates will engage with current national and international research on STEM learning, including studies on curriculum design, teacher professional learning, student engagement, and the development of future-ready competencies.
