Our dedicated Reception team are committed to providing a warm and a highly professional welcome to students, staff and visitors to Mary Immaculate College. They are the first point of contact for all communications to the College, whether by phone, in person, or by post, and provide every assistance as required.
Reception is the liaison point for visitors to the College and a central meeting point during College events. Its staff are responsible for the following:
- Coordination and management of Reception duties
- Operation of the switchboard
- Mail – inwards and outwards
- Franking of mail
- Providing assistance to visitors in securing taxis for pick-up from the main reception area
The main reception area is situated on the ground floor of the Foundation Building and is manned by MIC staff 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and by security staff on weekends.
MIC's dedicated G4S Security team is present on campus 365 days a year and can be contacted at main reception outside of office hours.
