CALL FOR PAPERS
Background
The Inter-Varietal Applied Corpus Studies (IVACS) research centre is an inter-institutional network of researchers at a number of institutions including Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Queen’s University Belfast, University of Nottingham, Newcastle University, Dublin Institute of Technology and University of Edinburgh. The network was established in 1997. Each year, we hold a research symposium day where researchers from these institutions share their ideas in an informal plenary setting. This year Leeds Metropolitan University will host the symposium.
Theme
This year’s theme is Interpreting corpora..
Length of paper
Each paper will be 20 minutes in length, plus five minutes for questions.
