Research interests
In general, my research interests focus on promoting the betterment of lives of people with autism spectrum and/or intellectual disabilities across the lifespan. Specifically, my research focuses on adult outcomes, such as employment and mental health, and on developing and evaluating interventions designed to impact post-secondary transition outcomes. Using a mixed methods approach, my research is often community-based with a participatory design. As such, my research interests also include implementation science and the uptake of research and evidence-based practices in the community, narrowing the gap between research and practice in the field of autism/ID.
