Dr Geraldine Exton is an Academic Developer in Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) in Mary Immaculate College, and has worked in a variety of educational roles in four countries, since graduating in 1994. Training initially as a secondary school teacher in her native Australia, she is now working with academics to advise on curriculum design and the use of technology to aid and enhance teaching.
She is also working with the Regional Enterprise-Academic Partnership (REAP) project, a joint research initiative between Mary Immaculate College, the University of Limerick and Limerick Institute of Technology. The REAP project aims to build HEI capacity by engaging practitioners in designing and delivering online and blended learning.
