STEM Activity Packs
MIC has created a range of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activity packs for primary school children. Designed by Dr Maeve Liston, Director of Enterprise and Community Engagement and senior lecturer in STEM at MIC, these activity packs aim to engage children in STEM by setting a number of challenges, which can be completed at home or school using materials sourced from around the house.
These STEM challenges will teach children to think and act like an engineers, scientists, designers and mathematicians. Children will investigate and design solutions to problems and will be encouraged to be innovative and to think creatively.
