The Learning Enhancement and Academic Development Centre (LEAD) supports the professional development of academic staff in Mary Immaculate College through the promotion of excellence and innovation in academic practice.
Our professional development programme is a welcoming and flexible programme of events and opportunities which seek to offer academic staff professional learning opportunities focused on learning, teaching and assessment practices, including using technology to enhance the student learning experience.
Our approach to professional development is underpinned by the national Professional Development Framework for all staff who teach in Higher Education in Ireland, developed by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
