Termsof Reference of the Research Committee

• To advise and assist the AVPResearch in carrying out the duties of his / her post as specified hereunder, and with particular reference to the development of research policies andresearch strategies.
• To be available, insofar as may be practicable, for service to theCommittee through, inter alia, membershipof sub-committees, evaluation panels and / or other sub-groupsof theCommittee which are required for purposesof research development and planning, resource allocation and staffresearch development.
• The period of appointmentof theResearch Committee will parallel that of An Bord Rialaithe.
