  What is Online Module Registration?

Online Module Registration is the process whereby you confirm to the College the modules you are taking as part of your programme of study.

Registration facilitates Student Academic Administration in providing class lists and timetables and ensures students' inclusion on class lists and entry to examinations. It also faciliates the accurate recording of your academic history.

Who needs to complete online module registration?

All students on undergraduate programmes (including those on Off Campus or Placement) taught postgraduate programmes, and Structured PhD programmes, must register their modules in Week 1 of the Autumn and Spring semesters.

The following exceptions apply, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

EXCEPTION 1: Final year mature students on the BA in Liberal Arts who are either splitting their final year or completing the programme in 3 years may not be able to register online and it is their responsibility to inform Student Academic Administration of their module choices.

EXCEPTION 2: If you are an International Exchange or Erasmus student you do not have to register online. Student Academic Administration will complete your SEM1 and SEM2 module registration for you.

EXCEPTION 3:Students returning from leave of absence should complete a return from leave of absence form and register their subject choice with Student Academic Administration.

                                                 When to register

Online registration for the Autumn and Spring semesters takes place during Week 1 of each semester. If you do not register your modules within Week 1, you will incur a late registration fine of €30.
