 MA in Medieval Studies

This interdisciplinary programme entails an intellectual exploration of Western culture and society during the Medieval period.It draws on the expertise of staff from History, Philosophy, Theology, Art, and Irish Studies.

The programme should appeal to all students who have an interest in Medieval culture, literature, thought, history, and art.


Modules Include:

  • • History of Medieval Europe,
  • • Early Christian Ireland,
  • • Medieval Theology and Philosophy,
  • • Christian Art in the Middle Ages,
  • • Research Methodology
