- Applicants applying now to Mary Immaculate College on the grounds of Mature Years, for entry in September 2018, are not required to complete a separate Mature Supplementary Form for the above Programme. Applicants should complete their application through the CAO by 1st February, and complete the Mature Applicant sections (1-11) which are part of the CAO application procedure, however applicants must submit a Personal Statement to the Admissions Office. CAO Video Guide for Mature Students
All mature applicants will be invited to attend for an interview and a short written test. Mature students who do not meet the normal minimun entry requirements may be considered for admission if, having attended for interview and written test, they satisfy the College Authorities as to their ability to benefit from and sustain the programme.
Offer of Place
Mature students who have completed an interview and written test will be contacted by the College to indicate whether or not they are being offered a place and all places will then be offered by the CAO.
Mature students who have not registered on a college programme within the past 5 years may be eligible for free fees.
Graduates who wish to register on an undergraduate programme as mature students are not eligible for free fees.
Mature students must pay the Student Services Fee and First Year Charges detailed in the Student Charges section of this website.

A new online only grant application system is in place. Applications are to be made online through the single awarding authority, Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) at www.studentfinance.ie
Easter Week Commemoration Scholarships, Gaeltacht University Scholarships and Irish Language Third Level Scholarships will be replaced with a new single scheme of bursaries based on merit.
