Psychology Public Lecture

As you may know, over 300 people attended a free public psychology lecture on the night of Wednesday 14 November, entitled, ‘Weird! Your mind is stranger than you think’. Launch of the Student Parent Handbook

Mary Immaculate College (MIC) is the first and only college in the country to offer a dedicated service to student parents and expectant parents through the Student Parent Co-Ordinator (SPC) Project. The Project, which began in October 2007, is funded by the HSE Crisis Pregnancy Programme (HSE CPP) and Mary Immaculate College Students’ Union (MISU).

Clinton Presents McManus Scholarships to 4 MIC Students!

At a ‘media black-out’ ceremony for 600 invited guests, former US President, Bill Clinton, presented 125 exceptional students with All-Ireland Scholarship Awards, sponsored by JP McManus, worth €6750 for each year of their studies.

Staged Car Crash Scene at MIC

Mary Immaculate College (MIC) was the scene of a staged car crash this afternoon, as emergency services gave a demonstration of how they work on arrival at a road traffic accident. This was just one of the “Lifesaver Project” events taking place at MIC.
