Graduation 2018 - Conferring Ceremonies

Thursday 25 & Friday 26 & Saturday 27 October 2018.


The conferring of Academic Awards by the President of the University of Limerick, Dr Des Fitzgerald, will take place in the College on Thursday 25, Friday 26 & Saturday 27 October, 2018.  All ceremonies will take place in the Tailteann building.

The conferring ceremonies will commence at 3.00 p.m. on Thursday and 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on Friday and at 10.00a.m. on Saturday.  You are required to be present in the appropriate academic dress and seated in your correct place at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of ceremony.

Online registration for conferring ceremonies opened on Friday October 5th and will close at 5pm on Wednesday October 17th.

BA, BA ECCE, B.Ed., B.Ed. & Psychology, PME and MIC Thurles Campus graduands– a link will be sent to the email address that you provided at the end of the 2018 Exit Survey. If you have not yet completed the survey you may access it via your MIC email account.

Postgraduate graduands – a link will be sent to your college registered personal email address.

It should be noted that the names of Graduands who are not in attendance may or may not be called out depending on the circumstances.

Graduation queries should be sent to graduation2018@mic.ul.ie      Please include your Name, ID number, and Course in the e-mail.

You are invited to a reception in the main College building (Foundation Building) following the conferring ceremony.

All Graduating Students must have paid all fees and cleared all debts to the College (including outstanding Library Fines), otherwise they will not be allowed to graduate.
