Graduate Diploma / Masters in the Positive Intervention in Educational Disadvantage
This part-time course of two year's duration provides the teaching professional with the skills and knowledge to tackle educational disadvantage in schools and communities. It provides a comprehensive overview of research and best practice in the area.
The course is provided in a flexible way and works to practically integrate new skills and knowledge with the practising teachers' school-based work. Students who achieve a specific standard can then progress to the M.Ed. programme, which comprises all the taught modules of the Graduate Diploma and the writing of a dissertation on an approved topic.
