Pedagogical

Mounting displays e.g. Jesse tree crib, Advent calendar, advent wreath, Lenten/Easter garden and the dissemination of Liturgical material via college notice boards, mobilisation and the provision of resources for students, presentation of special lectures .

Organisation and support of college events

Orientation week: Tuesday, 30th August to Thursday, 1st September 2016

Mass to open the Academic year: 21st September 2016

Graduation: 27th & 28th October 2016

Foundation day: 8th December 2015 

Special events

Class, group and personal liturgies celebrated as requested. Liturgies and para liturgies to mark various feasts and liturgical occasions. Ecumenical and interfaith services. Penance service and confession.

Networking and creating a web of Care and Support

Co-operating and liaising with various Staff Groups and disciplines within the College e.g. Health Promotion, Theology and Religious Studies, Religious Education, Catering & Household Staff, Sports Dept, Developing links group, Medico Humanities Group, Learning Support Unit, Health and Safety, English/Irish/Geography/Music and History departments, Wired FM, Library, AV department and the Arts Office/Student Services and Education offices.

Remembrance Mass

November 24th: Remembrance mass. This is a special mass to remember all of the relatives of students and staff who have passed away throughout the year.
