Dr Greer is the founding member of the Psychology Department at Mary Immaculate College. She played the major role in the design and implementation of the psychology components of both the BA in Liberal Arts and the BEd. Education and Psychology degree programmes.
Her current research interests include: motor control mechanisms underpinning hand skills, motor skills training; and applications of motor skills research to contemporary society; measurement issues in pain and chronic illness; effectiveness of group decision making; the role of spirituality in education, effectiveness of technology in higher education; ageism in the caring professions.
Dr Greer teaches undergraduate courses (introductory and advanced) in Social Psychology and the Psychology of Work. She contributes modules on Group Dynamics; Research Methods and Leadership on the taught masters degree in Christian Leadership.
