Graduation 2017 - Conferring Ceremonies

Thursday 26th & Friday 27th & Saturday 28th October 2017.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY

The conferring of Academic Awards by the President of the University of Limerick,            Dr. Des Fitzgerald, will take place in the College on Thursday 26th, Friday 27th & Saturday 28th October, 2017.  All ceremonies will take place in the Tailteann building.

The conferring ceremonies will commence at 3.00 p.m. on Thursday and 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. on Friday and at 10.00a.m. on Saturday.  You are required to be present in the appropriate academic dress and seated in your correct place at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of ceremony.

Online Registration for 2017 Graduation Ceremonies

You must inform the college that you will attend your conferring ceremony via online registration by 10am on Monday October 23rd 2017.

If you do not register, it will be assumed that you will be absent from the ceremony and a seat will not be reserved for you.

Undergraduate BA, BEd, BEd & Psych., BA ECCE & St Patrick's Campus Thurles & PME (Primary) Graduands
An invitation to register for your conferring ceremony has been sent to the email address that you provided at the end of the 2017 Exit Survey (check spam / junk folders as well as your inbox). If you have not completed the Exit Survey, complete it as soon as possible, you may access it here. You will receive the invitation to register for your conferring ceremony within 2 working days of completion of the exit survey.

Postgraduate & Early Childhood Practice Graduands
An e-mail invitation to register for your graduation ceremony has been sent to the home e-mail address currently held in college records (check spam / junk folders as well as your inbox). If your home e-mail address has changed it is important that you e-mail quality@mic.ul.ie to ensure that you receive the invitation to register for your conferring ceremony - please state your full name, ID number and course in the e-mail.

Queries re the 2017 Exit Survey or online registration for your conferring ceremony should be made to the Quality Office quality@mic.ul.ie. Please provide your full name, ID number and course with the query.

All other queries regarding the conferring ceremonies should be sent to Carrie Ryan, carrie.ryan@mic.ul.ie.

Certificate in Leadership for Inclusion in the Early Years Graduands     All candidates have received an email advising on finalising registration for Graduation 2017.  If you have not received this email, please contact linc@mic.ul.ie 


 

It should be noted that the names of Graduands who are not in attendance may or may not be called out depending on the circumstances.

Graduation queries should be sent to carrie.ryan@mic.ul.ie. Please include your Name, ID number, and Course in the e-mail.

You are invited to a reception in the main College building (Foundation Building) following the conferring ceremony.

All Graduating Students must have paid all fees and cleared all debts to the College (including outstanding Library Fines), otherwise they will not be allowed to graduate.
