The BLU and the ICT Services department jointly manage and support staff, faculty and students in the use of our virtual learning environment (VLE), Moodle.
MIC’s Moodle environment enables our faculty to manage their course materials in a virtual setting where students have access to them. Moodle provides a range of communication tools, such as discussion forums, blogs, and wikis; so that lines of communication between staff and students are always open and peer collaboration can happen easily.
Moodle facilitates online course delivery while also complementing traditional face-to-face instruction in a blended learning approach. Our academic staff use Moodle to create and host course materials, quizzes and assessments based around instruction delivered in their live lectures.
